Dr. Ismail is Professor and Head of the pathology department, Faculty of medicine, Beni-Suef University. She is Head of PathLab, private renal pathology service and an ISN regional training center of Excellence. She is Chair of the Renal pathology Educational Committee in the African Society of Nephrology, the Chair of the Program Committee in the Renal Pathology Society, Chair of the Glomerulonephritis & genetics Chapter in Egyptian Society of Nephrology and the Past Chair of The Renal Pathology Working Group of The International Society of Nephrology (ISNRPWG).
